Conor McGregor and Cristiano Ronaldo rub shoulders again as UFC star says he’ll be in the mix for Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou

Conor McGregor is set to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia this weekend.

The eyes of the sports world will be firmly on Riyadh on Saturday night when WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury takes on Francis Ngannou in a controversial crossover clash.

Numerous celebrities will attend the Saudi showdown, including Al-Nassr and Portugal Star ronaldo.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner will compete alongside UFC poster boy McGregor, who announced on X that he will fly to the Kingdom for the fight today.

He wrote: “I have just announced that I will be traveling to the Kingdom Saudi Arabia Tomorrow morning, the heavyweight blockbuster fight between boxer Tyson Fury and mixed martial artist Francis Ngannou – cross boxing.

“MMA is getting involved in boxing again, this time in the Kingdom, this time with heavyweights.

“Excited to be there and can’t wait to land Saudi Arabiasee what this country has to offer.

“I sincerely thank you for the invitation. I’m very much looking forward to it.”

ronaldoFormer UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou revealed his participation in the fight on Thursday on X (formerly Twitter).

Al Nasr wrote alongside a photo of himself and Ronaldo after Al Nasr’s 4-3 win over Al Duhail earlier this week: “Nice to meet you this week my brother @Cristiano.

McGregor and Ronaldo, 35 and 38 respectively, are no strangers to each other on the court. summer 2016.
