The former two-weight champion has earned tens of millions of dollars from his fights and is known for earning $100 million for his 2017 crossover fight with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.
However, he hasn’t stepped inside the Octagon in two years, which means he’s missing out on some huge paychecks.

However, Notorious claims his total career earnings are close to £600m.
In 2021, McGregor sold his successful whiskey business to Proximo Spirits for $600 million and topped Forbes’ list of rich athletes.
However, due to injury, which severely injured him at UFC 264 in July 2021, the 34-year-old has been unable to cash in with a fight, slipping to 33rd on the same list two years later.
Ahead of his much-anticipated comeback, McGregor is determined to become a billionaire and eventually supplant Michael Jordan as the richest man in sports history, according to a recent study by Statista.

Although the 60-year-old made most of his wealth through his Air Jordan collaborations with Nike, he is believed to have a net worth of $2 billion.
“It’s encouraging, Michael Jordan is at the top of the list and obviously it was the Jordan Brand that got him there and he’s worth billions of dollars,” McGregor told broadcaster Megan Olivier.
“I think he made $3.3 billion.
“I’ve made a billion dollars, and I think I’ve made about $650 million in total.
“I think they figured I might have to do a little bit of testing on my own, but I hope I have a chance of getting on that list.
“It’s nice to see Forbes (annual list of the richest athletes) as my goal to achieve this, and I get it and we move on.”
