“I think he’s the right fit for the role, he’s the right fit for us given his cinematic experience,” adds executive producer Albert Hughes. “And I let others discuss other things because it’s not a black and white issue and I don’t want to jump to conclusions and clickbait. This is a difficult game. I have my own ideas about life and everything else, but I’m here to entertain. And at the beginning of my career, I was not so careful. But there is the weight that he carried, the material that he carried from his past roles, and what he did that we need for this role. And I don’t think anyone could have been a better fit, shall we say, with his skills and experience.”
Continental will be released in theaters on September 22, and Ballerina on June 7, 2024. John Wick: Chapter 4 is now available for purchase at all theater stores ahead of its streaming debut later this year, with the first three films in the franchise streaming on Tubi.
