The president Andrés Manuel López Obrador signed a collaboration agreement with private hospitals Mexico to –no-cost – to meet the right levels of the IMSS, ISSSTE, Insabi, Pemex, SEDENA, Marina during the contingency for the coronavirus Covid-19.
The agreement –valid from 23 April to 23 may – points out that the private hospitals be awarded 50% of their beds, that is to say, about 3 thousand 115 beds for them to be cared for beneficiaries of public institutes of health various ailments.
So will be 12 thousand 500 beds in the sector to cater to people who are sick with Covid-19.
National Palace, the president Andrés Manuel López Obrador stressed that it is transcendent the signing of the agreement between the public and private sector that join front against the pandemic of coronavirus.
“I want to thank you on behalf of the government of Mexico to the owners of the private hospitals by this decision that they have taken, this is to allocate half of its ability to attend to the sick of the IMSS, ISSSTEand without social security, to all people in need”.
Accompanied by members of his Cabinet and by the National Association of Private Hospitals, who preside over Mario Gonzalez Ulloa and Olegario Vázquez Aldir, vice president of the association, the President pointed out that who had a surgery program with public health institutions is going to inform where you will be seen.

The chancellor Marcelo Ebrard emphasized that the act of solidarity is very important for entrepreneurs because they will have a single health system and constitutes a common front between the public and private institutions.
