Arezzo, 17 June 2023 – The game under the stars affirms itself as a display of Camusia’s associations and activities. Also in this third edition, the nexus between the worlds of sport, volunteerism and commerce has returned to the scene. Despite two showers during the opening stage, many people took to the streets of Camusia to get to know the local sporting realities, third sector associations and to take advantage of open shops and establishments for the entertainment of children and families. The event ended late at night with an acrobatics show on bikes, skates and rollers in Viale Matteotti and Petri Park.
The highlight of the event was the award ceremony for the sportspersons and federations that have distinguished themselves in recent months with the presence of testimonials from the sporting and Paralympic world.
The awards were presented to Assad by Andrea Settembrini and SS Arezzo captain and manager Sabatino Selvaggio. Frata Santa Caterina to transition to the first tier of the amateur football championship. Prizes for second place in the Karate World Championships, Roberto Sarchelli of OM Karate Cortona, Paralympic athletes Giulia Vernata and Giusi Albiani, of the Provincial Paralympic Committee. Also the award to Enrico Lombardini, for the passion and dedication shown to the community and the sport during the ten-year presidency of Cortona Volleyball, in the presence of Massimo Rolla, former volleyball referee and regional guarantor in Umbria for the rights of people with disabilities.

Roberto Chinnici of the Cam Institute, Patricio Michael Chiavachi for distinguishing himself for his commitment and ability in football and bowling. TC Seven, Serena Agnelli, Christiana Gaggioli, Annalisa Romiti, Chiara Marcelli’s “Ladies 40” award for the title of Italian Tennis Champion, with the award presented by Roberto Cammarelle, Olympic boxing gold medalist. Praise also for the very young regional chess champions Marta Belperio, Martina Faralli, Emma Parri, Helena Thanasco, Matilde Bianchi, Hiba Bozabaud, given to the parchments by coach Luigi Nasentini from the Istituto Comprensivo Cortona 2. Finally, a carousel of awards also for the athletes of the ASD Rhythmic Gymnastics of Cortona Benedetta Rossi, Lucrezia Paolelli, Bianca Rosadelli, Ginevra Chiarabolli, Marta Agnelli, Camilla Tizzi, Adele del Santo, Fiamma Brogi, with the award given to them by Alberto Melis and Marcello Lazzeri, Coni representative of Arezzo and Valdichiana.
During the ceremony, the mayor Luciano Meoni and the councilor of Sport Silvia Spensierati, presented a reproduction of the Tabula cortanensis to all the sports guests, in addition to thanking all those who contributed to the success of the event. There was also the memory of some personalities from the sporting world and local volunteers such as Giorgio Serbai (historical representative of Coni Arezzo), Ivo Pieroni (Avis Cortona), Giancarlo Caetani (Istituto Cam) and a special mention.
