Damian Lillard filed for divorce just days after being traded from the Portland Trail Blazers to the Milwaukee Bucks before the start of training camp. Lillard may avoid the fate of other divorced athletes like Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods, as well as billionaires Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates.
According to court documents filed by Lillard and his soon-to-be-ex-wife, the couple signed a prenuptial agreement five days before their wedding last September. February 4, 2021. They have been together since attending Weber State University and have three children.

Damian Lillard may be able to avoid losing half of his fortune to soon-to-be ex-wife Kayla Hansen by signing a prenuptial agreement before their wedding. The only dispute between the former couple is over custody of their three children, Damian Jr. and twins Cali and Kali.
Lillard is also going through one of the most expensive divorces for a basketball player. Michael Jordan currently holds the NBA player record for his $168 million settlement with his ex-wife Juanita Vanoy in 2006.
Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos hold two records for the most expensive divorces ever. Gates paid about $76 billion to his ex-wife Melinda, while MacKenzie Bezos received $38 billion.

Damian Lillard to appear in court next month
Damian Lillard avoided losing a lot of money by signing a prenuptial agreement, but he must appear in court next month for a sole custody hearing of his children. Kayla Hansen wants full custody of her three children but is willing to work with Lillard on a parenting plan.
Hansen also revealed Lillard’s status as an absentee parent in court documents filed. She understands Dame’s busy schedule, but is dissatisfied that Dame only spends 30 minutes of free time every hour with her children.
