Dana White prefers working with Vince McMahon rather than competing with him.
The UFC CEO mentioned in a recent interview with Sports Illustrated that his relationship with McMahon has changed a lot since the two companies merged.
“Vince and I didn’t have a great relationship,” White said. “I tried to fuck me multiple times, for no reason, just to fuck me. But that’s in the past. Now Vince and I are allies, and there’s no one better to partner with than Vince.”
“From day one of the deal, it was like I was dealing with a different person,” White continued. “It goes to show that when you go against him, or he thinks you go against him, this guy will follow you blindly. Once you’re on the same page, Vince is an incredible partner.”
“We’ve probably had 20 phone calls since the deal was made. These have been value-added conversations – Vince is working and raising the bar for both companies.”
White went on to say that while he and Vince didn’t always see eye to eye, his relationship with Paul Levesque and Stephanie McMahon has always been great.
“Triple H and Stephanie have been great working together,” White said. “I’ve always had a great relationship with them, even though we didn’t see eye to eye at the time. But the most amazing story is the relationship with Vince McMahon.”
“Vince McMahon, man, he’s an absolute savage,” White continued. “Even though we’ve been through some things in the past, I respect it. I love a killer. He’s definitely a killer. “He’s the Michael Jordan of business. “
