Charles Oliveira is one of those fighters about whom trash talk is avoided even among rivals. One of the most likable personalities in the UFC, Oliveira always seems to be on the fans’ side.
While the recent “Do Bronx” meme festival is trending on social media, fans have been praising the former UFC champion with these hilarious jokes. Oliveira also took it as a sport, answering some of them in his ever-cheerful manner.
This trend may have started with rumors of Oliveira dating Taylor Swift or Ice Spice. This subsequently turned into a viral trend, with fans simply jokingly making up fake news about Oliveira, showing him in a superior light and citing famous media outlets as their source.
Recently, the Twitter account @hokage_mma suggested that Oliveira is the “dad” of former adult actress Lana Rhoades and the father of her newborn baby Milo. A fan wrote:
“There was this guy she met at a party in Vegas. (…) She doesn’t know his name, but she knows that the champion has a name.”
Since then, the memes have continued to appear: hilarious footage of Charles Oliveira landing a $400 million contract with pornography site Brazzers, being nominated for a Nobel Prize, and more.

“Oliveira will not be renewing his UFC contract when it expires this December. Charles decided to use his talents to compete with the MMA promotion: BRAZZERS, signing a huge contract worth 400 MILLION DOLLARS!?!”
“Oliveira Named Times Person of the Year.”
“@CharlesDoBronxs will receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his charitable work in the favelas of Brazil.”
Charles Oliveira responded kindly to dating rumors with Taylor Swift and Ice Spice.
Beneil Dariush allegedly had to cut a lot of weight before his UFC 289 loss to Charles Oliveira.
Despite losing just once since 2018, Charles Oliveira was a slight underdog against Beneil Dariush in the co-main event of UFC 289. However, the former UFC champion once again proved what he’s capable of as he starched “Benny” in the very first round and won an upset victory.
However, Dariush’s teammate Marvin Vettori claims a botched weight cut may also have played a role in how the fight ended. Highlighting Dariush’s reluctance to use this as an excuse, Vettori recently told Shakiel Majuri:
“I know he doesn’t even want to talk because of course he doesn’t want to make excuses. And he’s not like that… I think it’s some bullshit that went wrong with weight cutting or something like that. But at the same time, we’re all losing weight terribly, and I know it’s not him – he’s not saying it as an excuse, he’s just saying it because it happened.”
