Dennis Rodman chooses side to dispute Michael Jordan’s legacy, details tense off-court relationship between Bulls

Dennis Rodman has been in the spotlight and doesn’t seem to be stepping away anytime soon. With the addition of Dennis Rodman, the Chicago Bulls won three championships in the late 1990s. He was an integral part of their three-peat. But after years with the Bulls, Rodman talked about his time in Chicago and how he related to his teammates.

Life is very difficult insect in the 2000s. Rodman faced some challenges in his life and couldn’t control himself. After his life returned to normal, he started talking about his journey and how his perspective on life had changed.

Dennis Rodman’s relationship with Bulls legend

In 2011, during the exhibition Fang Duo Along with Graham Benzinger, Dennis Rodman was asked about his relationship with his Chicago Bulls teammates. I quote Scottie Pippen: “I’ve never talked to Dennis in my life.” Graham asked Rodman why he didn’t talk to his teammates.

Rodman responded that he didn’t think it was important. To Rodman, the only thing that mattered was that he won.

He went on to explain that the three of them had never spoken together during their three years with the Chicago Bulls. Rodman added that the only time they spoke was on the court. He revealed that he did speak to some of his other teammates. But when Rodman says he’s never talked to a major player on the Chicago Bulls, no one usually believes it.

Since then, things have changed. Rodman revealed in 2020 that he now keeps in touch with the two Bulls legends and paid tribute to them. Dennis Rodman believes not talking to them helps him focus more. A few years ago, he was asked to choose the best player from the two.

Dennis Rodman Names Best Player Between Jordan and Pippen

Rodman revealed in an interview that Michael Jordan could not win alone. He said, “I say this all the time; “I say thank God Michael Jordan got Scottie Pippen because Michael couldn’t have done it himself.”

Rodman was asked about this in an interview with VladTV. Former Bulls teammate John Salley once said that Pippen was the most skilled player he ever played with, not Michael Jordan. Rodman half-heartedly agreed, admitting that Jordan wasn’t a winner without Scottie Pippen.
