President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said Saturday afternoon a call with Larry Fink, chairman of the fund BlackRock.
The reason for the call between the mexican head of state and the executive of the investment firm was to exchange points of view on the economic crisis and global health, which is leading to the expansion of the COVID-19.
“I had a video call with Larry Fink, chairman of the fund BlackRock, to exchange views on the #coronavirus and the deterioration of global economic”, said López Obrador on Twitter without giving details on what was discussed.
The chief Executive ended that day on a tour of inspection of the hospital infrastructure in Morelos and Mexico City, where he reported progress carried out by the Military to equip medical units to attend to more serious cases of the pathogen in the country.
This Sunday it is expected that López Obrador announced a plan to revive the mexican economy.
