The death of Diego Maradona

At the time of his death, Diego Maradona was convalescing from the operation he had undergone on November 3 for a subdural hematoma that was detected as a result of a hospitalization first at the Ipensa clinic in the city of La Plata and then referred to the Olivos Clinic, from the north of Greater Buenos Aires.

El Ten died on November 25, 2020, about 1 pm, due to heart failure. The circumstances that led to his death are being investigated by the Justice within the framework of a case involving seven defendants and which is part of the crime of “simple homicide with eventual intent.”

Diego had come back to life when he met death that had a full impact on the heart of the world. He had returned to work as a DT in Argentine football thanks to the call for Gymnastics and in his last year of life he received countless tributes in life, starting with the Argentine soccer fields that received him with honors when he sat on the visiting benches with his DT diver from the Wolf.

“Thank you Gimnasia and thanks to your incredible fans for giving me the opportunity to continue linked to football. For me, this is life itself. And thank you for making me feel like one of you ”, published the technical director in September 2020, one year after assuming his position at the club.

The death of Diego Armando Maradona

Diego Maradona died at the age of 60 and the autopsy determined that he died as a result of a “Acute lung edema secondary to exacerbated chronic heart failure”. He also discovered in his heart a “dilated cardiomyopathy”.

The 1986 world champion in Mexico suffered from alcohol addiction problems, had been admitted to a clinic in La Plata on November 2, 2020 for anemia and dehydration and a day later he was transferred to a sanatorium in the Buenos Aires town of Olivos, where he was operated on for a subdural hematoma.

On November 11, he was discharged from hospital and moved to a house in a private neighborhood on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, where he died on November 25.

Diego, born October 30, 1960, passed away on November 25, 2020.

Death, judicial cause and 7 defendants

The Argentine Justice investigates seven people for alleged “simple homicide with eventual intent” – a crime that provides a penalty of between 8 and 25 years in prison – seeking to determine if the care given to the former soccer player was deficient.

It’s about the neurosurgeon Leopoldo Luque, the psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov, the psychologist Carlos Diaz, the doctor who coordinated home care Nancy forlini, the nurse coordinator Mariano perroni and the nurses Ricardo Omar Almirón and Dahiana Gisela Madrid.

An uncontrolled funeral
