Director reveals since when Rowdy became a Skrull

In an interview with Comicbook magazine Ali Selim Director Secret Invasion revealed when Rhodey was replaced by a Skrull, as shown in Secret Invasion.

“A lot of people were like, ‘Definitely when is Rhodey…?’ I think his legs don’t work at the end of episode 6 and he’s wearing a hospital gown, so I’d like to say it’s from Captain America: Civil War. Is this the final answer now, or is it more interesting for the audience to go back and revisit every moment, every moment that Rhodey shows up and look at him with different eyes, now they’re like, “Oh, could that be a Skrull there? Make your own decision, otherwise it will be given to you later in Armor Wars.

Thus, according to the director, all subsequent appearances of Rhodey in Infinity War, Endgame, Falcon, the Winter Soldier, etc., they would be with Rhodey a Skrull

Marvel Studios series Secret Invasion stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Charlaine Woodard, Killian Scott, Samuel Adevunmee, Dermot Mulroney, Christopher McDonald, Katie Finneran, with Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman, and Don Cheadle.

Ali Selim is directing and executive producing the series along with fellow executive producers Kevin Feige, Jonathan Schwartz, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Samuel L. Jackson, Ali Selim, Kyle Bradstreet and Brian Tucker. Kyle Bradstreet is also the head writer, while Jennifer L. Booth, Allana Williams and Brant Englestein are co-executive producers.

Secret Invasion from Marvel Studios is now available to stream exclusively on Disney+. The series finale will be released on the streaming platform on Wednesday, July 26.
