Our childhood or adolescence, from time to time, peeps back into our current life in the most disparate ways: with a song, a dress found in the closet after being hidden for years, a photograph, a social post or seeing a of our icons of the era that we thought was gone. That’s exactly what happened to me when I found out that Avril Lavigne is not only recently single againafter breaking the engagement with the colleague Mod Sun (excuse me, but I was still fresh divorce from the frontman of Nickelback, Chad Kroeger), but she’s dating another celebrity we’ve buried in our memories: Tyga.
The rapper was Kylie Jenner’s first public boyfriend, as well as the main reason for the hatred between the Kardashian family – Jenner and his ex, Blac Chyna, engaged in a toxic relationship to say the least with Robert Kardashian, father of her daughter Dream. A far cry from these family dramas, Tyga may now be dating Lavigne, though those directly involved were quick to say that they are just “great friends”. However, if love stories in Hollywood have taught us anything, it is surely to be wary of this type of justification because there is always something going on. The two were spotted a few weeks ago, having dinner together, in the famous restaurant in Los Angeles, Nobu, while they exchanged hugs and tenderness. Then, they met again, on the occasion of the Fashion week in Paris, at the party organized by Leonardo Di Caprio al KukuThey came and went together. I highly doubt the singer needed a ride home. And finally, were filmed kissing at the exit party of *__Mugler __*organized by Hunter Schafer.
The best thing about these photos is noticing how the memory I had of Avril Lavigne matches her current image perfectly, baggy jeans, white tank tops and ties aside. And I think Tyga is also of the same opinion who, given her age, cannot fail to have memories of his adolescence in the company of the singer’s songs and her music videos (Complicated does that tell you anything?). Sure, they make a pretty bizarre pair, but deep down we’ve seen worse.
