The head-to-head matchup between the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills always makes NFL fans on the edge of their seats. A big reason behind this is the quarterback battle between Josh Allen and Tua Tagovailoa. This loss was tough for the Dolphins, but that doesn’t mean they won’t go down without a hitch. Their leader and quarterback played tough throughout the game, even catching the attention of Tony Romo.The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback even when I compared Tagovailoa to Tom Brady via Brobible’s Dov Kleiman.
“Tua is playing like Tom Brady in his prime,” Tony Romo said during the Dolphins-Bills game.
NFL faithful either question the comparison or nod in agreement. Fans just got to see Tua Tagovailoa out of Bills and Josh Allen school for the nth time in his career. This quarterback matchup, while exciting, could be very favorable for Allen. He completed 21 of 25 passes attempted. That also means passing for 320 yards and four touchdowns without an interception.
Tagovailoa wasn’t very efficient, but he was useful as he completed 25 of 35 pass attempts. The Dolphins quarterback threw a touchdown but also gave up an interception. All of this combined with the Week 4 loss has fans questioning Romo’s statement.
However, there is no doubt that the Bills quarterback probably has the same ceiling as Tom Brady. For now, Romo claims it could be because they beat the Denver Broncos.
