Yesterday Donald Trump he was arrested – and then released on bail – in Georgia, and for the first time in the history of the United States of America, a photograph of an ex-US President was taken.
The image was then posted on X (formerly Twitter) by the same user. Donald Trump:
The shot also spawned the inevitable teasing, and in that sense, it was a tweet from user X that ended up starting the ironic cinematic thread. The original tweet compared Donald Trump’s look to the iconic “Kubrick look”, one of the legendary director’s most famous directorial gimmicks. And in particular, Trump’s expression has been compared to that of such iconic Kubrick villains as Jack Torrance, Alexander “Alex” DeLarge, and soldier Leonard Lawrence “Palla di Lardo.”
