Dwayne Johnsonhe’s a stone-faced cop safe and sound Luke Hobbs From Fast and Furious will play a major role in separate film dedicated to the character, along Jason Momoawho plays the main villain in Quick X.
Last The film will take place during the events Quick Xwhere Hobbs runs into Jason Momoa’s Dante seeking revenge after this Hobbs killed his father on deck during fast five. Johnson himself announced this on Twitter from sunny Hawaii!
The Hollywood Reporter reported that a new standalone film about Hobbs will be released. it will not be a sequel or spin-off, but rather described as “Fast X.5”.. The film will be written and produced by Chris Morgan and executive produced by Johnson along with his partners from Seven Bucks Productions including Dani Garcia and Hiram Garcia. Vin Diesel and Samantha Vincent will produce the film under their One Race Production banner.
Production will be handled by Jeff Kirschenbaum of Roth/Kirschenbaum Films and Neil Moritz of Original Film. Johnson wanted to emphasize that he and Diesel have been brothers for many years. and just like brothers sometimes don’t feel the same, remembering that the franchise is bigger than them and that it’s it’s time to reunite for “family”.
