My parents immigrated from Korea in the early 70s and built a bustling grocery store in the Bronx… We were among the many families who set foot on a new land with hopes and dreams – all of us Cultures, languages and beautiful little neighborhoods mixed in a big salad bowl. That’s what brought me to Elemental.
So this movie is a thanks to the director’s parents, who passed away during the making of this thing. The soundtrack includes the original song “Steal the Show”, written by Thomas Newman (music) and Michael Matosik (lyrics) and performed by Lauv aka Ari Leff. American singer-songwriter and record producer, has written songs for artists such as Leff Celine Dion, Demi Lovato and Charli XCX began publishing and performing her songs.
