The Lord of the Rings spin-off’s gold paint supply has been exhausted.
Vice President of Global Marketing at Rosco, the paint company used by creators Barbierecently reported (via The Los Angeles Times) that the film “We used as much paint as we had.” leading to a worldwide shortage of pink paint.

Benedict Cumberbatch says playing Smaug is liberating
