Elizabeth Olsen is not only one of the most stunning actresses in the entertainment industry, but she is also an extremely friendly and very witty person. Although best known for her impressive performance as Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Olsen isn’t too proud of her experience in the film.

Although Elizabeth Olsen has received widespread acclaim for her impeccable performance as Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age of Ultronshe deserves even more praise because of all the effort she had to put in behind the scenes to play her role to perfection.
Based on what she shared on The Graham Norton Show next Avengers premiere of the sequel WandaVision the star had a hard time during filming. And the reason is really strange. Talking about her character in the film and how it was filmed as it was her first big screen appearance as Scarlet Witch, she said:
“It’s kind of funny to be on set when everyone is doing this ‘contact fight’ and I’m just waving my arms around, just hoping… I can control my mind, but also when we fight, I would shoot energy balls out of my hands, but only in my imagination. (Yes, because otherwise it would be absurd.) Yes! This will never happen (in real life).”
Continuing, Graham Norton asked her if visual effects managers had previously explained to her and shown her how she would look on screen. To this Olsen said:
“No! There’s a lot of trust involved.”
Imagine Elizabeth Olsen just waving her arms while everyone else around her is just fighting with fists and legs? It’s funny indeed, but it’s another reason to praise the incredible actress for creating such a wonderful on-screen portrayal of the Scarlet Witch without even knowing what she would actually look like in the end.

Elizabeth Olsen isn’t proud of her photos Avengers: Age of Ultron Sets
Following her hilarious revelation about how she pranked Scarlet Witch by pretending to have her powers, Graham Norton revealed the following photo of Elizabeth Olsen from the set of Scarlet Witch. Avengers: Age of Ultron:
This made everyone laugh, including Olsen herself. Pointing to Jeremy Renner’s reaction to Godzilla actress just sitting there pretending to use her powers, Norton remarked:
“Even Jeremy Renner isn’t impressed.”
He then turns his attention to the woman at the bottom of the photo, who looks incredibly unfazed and certainly doesn’t look like she’s afraid for her life. Commenting on it, The Graham Norton Show the owner said,
“I wouldn’t say this woman is running for her life.”
Considering all the expressions and reactions she gets from those around her in the photo, we can’t blame Elizabeth Olsen for not being too proud of her photos from Age of Ultron sets.
However, Olsen’s perfect job of embodying her character and absolutely bringing it to the big screen by simply putting her complete trust in the directors, producers and editors is more than worthy of praise.
