Fantastic Four: Sue Storm casting would be based on Dakota Johnson

New rumors about the debut of Fantastic Four In the Marvel Cinematic Universe suggest that the comic book giant plans to use Dakota Johnson Of Madame Web as a model for Sue Storm.

Insider Jeff Sneider recently discussed the topic of the upcoming Gods movie Fantastic Four on The Hot Mic podcast. According to him, for the part of Sue Stormotherwise known as the Invisible Woman, are trying to cast someone who looks the same as Dakota Johnson. “We’re looking at that 30-35 age group, and from what I understand, Dakota Johnson is the prototype.” The film is scheduled for release on February 14, 2025 and this alleged information provides a small preview of what the iconic character will look like.

Though Sneider says Johnson is both the look and the Marvel is looking for, it’s unclear if she’s being considered to take on the role herself, as she’s already involved in the Universe Spider-Man from the sony. The actress of Fifty Shades of Gray will appear in Madame Web as the main character, a clairvoyant psychic who uses her powers to see into the Spider-Verse. She is joined by actors such as Adam Scott and a mysterious character from Emma Roberts.

Who will play Sue Storm in Fantastic Four?

Sue Storm is not the only member of Fantastic Four which has received a lot of casting speculation. There have been many rumors regarding the cast of the next MCU movie, with names like Dev Patel For Reed Richards And Mila Kunis who met with executives. According to reports, Marvel would also be considering the star of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel Rachel Brosnahan And Jodie Comer Of Killing Eve for Sue Storm. However, the director of the film, Matt Shakmanrecently confirmed that they are still in the early stages of casting and that nothing is certain.

Madame Web will be released on February 16, 2024 and is directed by SJ Clarksonnoted for her work on The Defenders, Jessica Jones, Anatomy of a Scandal, Succession and other. The screenplay is written by Kerem Sanga (The Violent Heart), with contributions from the duo Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless (Morbius, Power Rangers, Gods of Egypt).

Information about the next Fantastic Four film is scarce and the release date was recently pushed back from November 2024 to February 2025. The leader of the Fantastic Four, Reed Richardshas already been seen in the MCU after a cameo in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessinterpreted by John Krasinski. However, it has been confirmed to be a one-off episode.
