“Fast and Furious 9” earned $7 million in its first night at the American box office

Reported by TheWrap. This result is higher than “Hobbs and Shaw”, which a couple of years ago started at 5.8 million a night, and subsequently earned about $60 million over a weekend in the States. Universal is still cautious in its forecasts, the studio hopes for 55-60 million for the new “Fast and the Furious”. If so, it will be the best start at the American box office in the entire pandemic period: while the palm is held by “Quiet Place 2” and “Godzilla v. Kong”, which raised approximately $ 50 million in their first weekend in North America.

At the same time, in the world, where the rental of “Fast and the Furious 9” began a month ago, the blockbuster has 292 million in the piggy bank. 203 of them were brought by China.
