British actor Ian McKellen was vaccinated against Covid-19.
The 81-year-old actor said he felt ” euphoric” from vaccinations at Queen Mary University Hospital in London, according to the BBC.
“Everyone who has lived the same age as me is alive because they received previous vaccinations,” said the legendary actor.
McKellen shared a photo of his vaccination on Twitter.

Sir McKellen said it was a ” special day” for him when he received a ” painless” vaccination from physician Dr. Phil Bennett-Richards. “I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone,” he added, saying that he was ” very lucky.”
“It’s a very special day, I feel euphoric. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. I feel very lucky to have had the vaccine.”

In early December, the UK began vaccinating its citizens against the coronavirus with the Pfizer vaccine. Health workers, the elderly, and people living in nursing homes were among the first to receive the vaccine.
