The plot of the movie: Anselmo is a child affected by an autism spectrum disorder; he loves superheroes, so much so that he is convinced that his father, who is actually gone, is one of them, on a mission to save the world. He sees the world as a fairy tale, full of colors and wonderful things, and even if he soon experiences human wickedness and the harshness of life, he doesn’t stop trusting people and always seeing the good and the beautiful around him, with the his smile plastered on his face and eyes full of wonder.
Growing up he becomes a man in physical appearance, but remains an innocent child with a pure gaze and no malice in his soul. At his side are his childhood friend and his great love Titti and his mother Gianna, who repeats to him how special he has been since he was a child, so special that in the end Anselmo convinces himself that he too is a superhero, like the one in the comics and just like his father …

The plot of the movie: In the summer of 1973, the 16-year-old nephew of oil tycoon Jean Paul Getty is kidnapped by a gang of masked men as he wanders through the narrow streets of Rome. Despite pressure from his mother Gail Harris, the wealthy oil industrialist, known to be the richest and greediest man in the world, refuses to pay the exorbitant $17 million ransom demand. The kidnapping of his favorite nephew, in fact, is not a valid enough reason for him to give up part of his fortune, so much so as to force the boy’s mother and the security man Fletcher Chace, in charge of negotiating with the criminals, to a unbridled race against time to collect the money, pay the ransom and finally embrace the young Paul …

The plot of the movie: In the French Alps, near the small university town of Guernon, the body of a murdered and mutilated man is discovered. The man is found in a fetal position, with his eyes gouged out and his hands cut off. The task of the investigation is not given to the local police but to the famous Parisian commissioner Pierre Niemans. The victim is identified as Remy Callois, professor and librarian of the University, an ancient institution linked to the territory and connected to the nearby hospital.
Commissioner Niemans’ first step is to understand the reason for the mutilations and therefore questions Bernard Cherneze, a local ophthalmologist who once worked at the University. The doctor has his own theory: the isolated position of the University has led to endogamy among professors which has produced increasingly serious genetic disorders in children born on campus but, in recent years, the phenomenon has completely reversed and the children of the village are sicker and sicker while college kids stay healthy…

The plot of the movie: Dobbs Mill, New England. Architect Newton Davis, after building his dream home for himself and his fiancée Becky, refuses to marry him. Destroyed by the rejection, the man decides to move, leaving the house empty. Some time later, in a Boston restaurant, Newton meets Gwen, a waitress who pretends to be Hungarian. Believing she doesn’t understand English, the man tells him the sad story of her crying. When the club closes, Newton finally discovers the girl’s prank and decides to accompany her to her house, where they end up spending the night together.
The next day, Gwen wakes up to find that Newton is gone, but she has absently forgotten the drawing of the house she had built at Dobbs Mill. Intrigued, the girl decides to go and see the abandoned villa: she likes her place so much that she decides to move there, pretending to be Newton’s wife …
