Five streaming films taken from the work of great contemporary writers

Taking advantage of the anniversary of the birth of two fundamental writers for modern American literature which they are David Foster Wallace (1962-2008) and Chuck Palahniuk (1962) we want to offer you readers five streaming movies which are film adaptations taken from some of the most important and renowned novelists of today. Unfortunately, it is missing from the streaming appeal Wonder Boys Of Curtis Hansonbased on the novel of the same name Michael Chabon who is probably our favorite living writer. The intense melodrama directed by Joe Wright brings to the big screen in a sparkling way one of the most successful novels of Ian McEwan. IT (2017)

We close with one of the most difficult transpositions of contemporary cinema. Andy Muschietti succeeds in the enterprise of translating the masterpiece of Stephen King remaining faithful to the spirit and proactive strength of the young protagonists. IT is a terrifying and romantic film in a gothic way, with beautiful chiaroscuro figures to discover scene after scene. It really couldn’t have been better.
