Flu and Covid-19 vaccines – SNS

Portugal managed more than 3 million cattle last month.

More than 3.4 million doses of Covid-19 influenza vaccine have been administered in Portugal compared to the previous month, according to the latest report on seasonal vaccination for 2023/2024 published by Direção-Geral da Saúde (DGS) on articulação com. Executive Directorate of National Health Services (DE-SNS).

Last week, more than 145,192 people were vaccinated against Covid-19, with a total of 1,521,123 doses administered, including 1,078,246 doses administered by pharmacies and 442,848 doses administered by the National Health Service (SNS).

It does not refer to the number of people who received a flu vaccine in the past seven days, the report showed 181,171 people, for a cumulative total of 1,926,329 people. The data also showed that a total of 1,387,305 people were vaccinated in pharmacies and 538,868 people were vaccinated on SNS.

Among people aged over 80, flu vaccine coverage exceeds 66% and Covid-19 vaccine coverage exceeds 55%. Between the ages of 70 and 79, vaccine coverage exceeds that of the flu vaccine at 62% and the Covid-19 vaccine at 51%. Ultra-low vaccine coverage for those aged 60 to 69 is 38%, compared with 33% for Covid-19.
