LeBron James’ support of Sanders isn’t new. He has previously expressed his admiration for Coach Prime.

In 2018, King James wore his Nike LeBron 15 Diamond Turf shoe, which was a mashup of his own signature shoe and Sanders’ previous signature Nike sneaker.

James explained that he wore the shoes in Atlanta, where Sanders earned the nickname “Primetime,” as a tribute to the former NFL superstar.
