Michael Jordan’s flu-game victory in the Chicago Bulls’ 1997 NBA Finals is one of the most iconic moments in league history. It turns out Jordan had played in another flu game in college, but that time, he was on the other side. Former basketball player and coach Dan Dakich has revealed some infamous stories about his feud with Jordan in college. The 61-year-old said Jordan’s flu game wasn’t the best one.

In an interview with Outkick, Dakich shared: “Three hours before the game, I didn’t know if I was going to start, but I was so sick that I didn’t tell anyone. (Bob) Knight said, ‘You’re guarding Michael Jordan,’ and I said, ‘Okay! OK. ‘s. I’ll kick his a**. “That’s what I do. ” However, the pregame meal was a problem for him. He revealed that he vomited all over the hotel room before the game. Regardless, that didn’t stop Dakic.
He then joined the team on the court and decided to give Jordan a rough night. He revealed that Jordan was sent off and scored 13 points, while the Chicago Bulls icon only scored 9 points when he was saved. Even after vomiting on the bench in the first half, Dakic still managed to limit Jordan. But he didn’t let his teammates know. This is something Jordan experienced in the NBA.
