Former New England Patriot Scott Zolak said on his radio show Wednesday that the Minnesota Vikings “reached out” to Tom Brady about the possibility of returning to the field as the franchise’s quarterback.
However, Zolak suggested Brady turn down the Vikings for a second return to the NFL.
It’s unclear when the alleged denial occurred, but what makes the most sense is that it occurred after Minnesota’s season starter Kirk Cousins suffered a season-ending Achilles injury on Oct. 29 after.
Instead, the Vikings acquired Joshua Dobbs from the Arizona Cardinals in an attempt to advance to the playoffs without Cousins.

Brady, who turns 46 in August, is expected to join Fox Sports’ NFL broadcast team for the 2024 season.
