Brock Purdy has been sensational since taking over as the San Francisco 49ers starting quarterback in Week 13 of the 2022-23 NFL season.

“Playing with a quarterback who can do that is more important than having a big arm, and he’s going to be successful for a long time.”

While some teams may be concerned about giving up a first-round pick, that’s not the case with the 49ers, and Staley cited the strength of the front office and coaching staff when it comes to making big decisions.

“The coaching staff has shown the players that no matter how much money they invest in players, they are going to put the best players out there.

“Obviously you hope these things work out, and in a perfect world they gave up everything to get Trey Lance and they want him to be successful, but there’s not a lot of franchises where Bullock can take control and be successful. rights, and management will just cut the bait and get rid of someone they invested a lot of money in.
