Tom Brady added some fire to the rivalry between Michigan and Ohio State ahead of Saturday’s school meeting, with the former Wolverines quarterback recording a spine-chilling voiceover promo for Fox.
With both teams unbeaten and ranked second and third respectively, the latest round of this historic rivalry holds particular significance.
Brady, who played at Michigan from 1996-99, believes there’s no rivalry in the world that rivals that of the Big Ten’s top programs.
“Every cold November, the Big Ten prepares for a meeting of football royalty,” he said in the video. “A bigger game, with bigger grudges.”
He later added: “There is fierce competition at every level, in every sport, around the world. This game – this game – no one shares the stage.

Michigan is favored in the tournament for the first time since 2018 despite a sign-stealing scandal at the school that sidelined head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Although Harbaugh denied any knowledge of the alleged scheme, he was suspended for three games earlier this month and missed the game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The same goes for Penn State and the University of Maryland.
The NCAA has opened an investigation into the University of Michigan over allegations that it sent now-former staffer Connor Stallion to opponents’ games to record video used to decode game signals.
The school also fired linebackers coach Chris Partridge, who destroyed computer evidence.
According to Yahoo! Sports, Partridge destroyed computer evidence in an attempt to cover up the program’s signal-stealing behavior.
Brady, who retired from the NFL in February, signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox and is expected to join their NFL broadcasts in the fall of 2024.
