From September 1st to 4th, the Fola Fair returns with shows, markets, art, music and entertainment – Municipality of Albinea

From Friday 1 to Monday 4 September, Albinea will host the Fiera della Fola with a very rich program of shows, markets, art, games, music and entertainment. The event is organized by the Municipality and Pro Loco.

FRIDAY 1 SEPTEMBER

Friday, September 1At 20 o’clock in the center of Fola, an antique market will open, and at 21, the 25th hobby exhibition will open in the gym of the elementary school, with a performance by the Albinea group.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2

Saturday, September 2from 10 to 13, second-hand book market in the library. At 11 am, the exhibition of Adele Davoli “Trame di una Vita. Lines, colors, compositions. At 15.30 at the municipal stadium “Il Poggio” will take place the ceremony of naming Guido Nasi and the football tournament of the youth sector “United Albinea”. At 5:00 pm, in the Parc Frassini, a moment that was so appreciated in 2022 will return: the “Dialect Quiz” with the participation of Pa9olo Messori and with the cooperation of the Léngua Mèdra Association (entrance free). From 17:00 to 24:00 Fola Park Square will host workshops, shows, music, folk dances, street food and markets organized by the association Albinea Live. At 18:00 on the playground of the Lavezza Park there will be an under-17 basketball match between Go Basket 2018 and Pallacanestro Novellara. At 19 “Dance de la plume – Flashmob” in Piazza Cavicchioni. At 20:00 market in the center of Fola and at 21:00 “History of Singing Italy” in the square with a concert.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 3

Sunday, September 3from 9 to 20, in the center of Fola, there will be a mobile market. Starting from 9, place for “Bimbimbichi” from Lavezza Park to the Bellarosa Club. The initiative is being promoted by Fiab, the municipality, Pro Loco, Circolo Bellarosa and Amici del Cea with the participation of Conada Albinea.

From 9 to 12.30, starting from Ceas di Borzano (Via Chierici 2) “Walk through the landscapes of the Messinian plasters of the Borzano karst area” accompanied by the speleologist Mauro Chiesi on the occasion of the nomination of the UNESCO candidacy of Bassa Collina Reggiana Patches. At 12 noon, a shrine in memory of albino marathoner William Govey will be opened at the Municipal Gymnasium in Via Grandi (Tennis Club).

At 18:00 visit the antiques market in the center of Fola and the under 15 game between Albinea and Novellara in the playground in Lavezza Park. Also at the age of 18 at the Parco dei Frassini, a fashion show and DJ set by Gas Sinclair and a cocktail party designed by the hairdresser Marina & Jenny. At 21, a big meeting in the square with the comedy show of Francesco De Carlo (admission is free, subject to availability).

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 4

Monday, September 4 this will be the last day of the fair. At 20:00 antique market in the center of Fola. At 21, the square will host the concert “Desamistade” in honor of Fabrizio de André. Fireworks will follow

EVERY EVENING

The Tirabuson Tavern will be open every evening in Piazza Lavezza, organized by Pro Loco.

with tasting of typical local products; an amusement park will appear on Caduti per la Liberta street, and a place for cricket tricycles will be allocated on Cavicchioni Square.

Every day from 21:00 to 23:30 it will be possible to visit the “world’s smallest museum” in the public scale.

In case of bad weather, concerts by Marco Dieci, Leo Turrini and Desamistade will take place at the Sala Civica in Via Morandi 9. Francesco De Carlo’s show will instead move to the Apollo Cinema.
