Released today and entering radio rotation April 21, “Esta Vida,” the new single from Grammy-nominated artist and producer MARSHMELLO featuring Puerto Rican singer and rapper FARRUKO.
The single was unveiled on the main stage of Ultra Music Festival (March 26) in front of more than 50,000 fans!
Also available today is the video for “Esta Vida”, directed by Justice Silvera, which shows Farruko living two completely different lives: one as a homeless person and another as a celebrity surrounded by fame and fortune. The video, starring both artists, tells a story of successes and failures.
The release of “Esta Vida” comes after the success of Marshmello’s latest collaboration with Manuel Turizo for the single “El Merengue”. In its first month, the song amassed over 87.5 million streams, reaching prominent positions in Spotify’s Global Top 50 (#43) and Apple Music’s Latin Top 50. The gorgeous fusion of tropical sounds continues to win the hearts of fans, trending Top 5 on YouTube and #5 on Shazam (+#60 song overall). It currently ranks #1 on the Tropical Airplay Chart, a new first for Marshmello.
These Latin music collaborations herald a new era for Marshmello.
