The nominations for the LOS40 Music Awards Santander 2023 were announced on Tuesday evening (October 17) at a dinner in Florida Park in Madrid, attended by artists including Aitana, Abraham Mateo, Ana Mena and Lola Indigo, according to a press release.
Aitana, Fade and Manuel Turizo top the list with six mentions each, followed by Lola Indigo, Mike Towers, Ozuna and Karol G with five, and Ana Mena, Quevedo, Bizarrap, Duki, Maria Becerra and Shakira with four nominations. every case.
The LOS40 Santander Music Awards are organized in 26 separate categories, divided into three categories: Spanish category, Global Latin American category and International category.
In the Spanish category, Aitana, Lola Indigo, Ana Mena and Quevedo are competing for the award for best artist or group along with Alvaro de Luna and David Bisbal. Lola Indigo and Aitana compete for best song for “Los Angeles” and “El Tonto”, respectively. And Abraham Mateo and Manuel Carrasco, with three mentions each, received awards for best direct performer and best collaboration.
In the Global Latina category, Feid y Turizo was awarded the award for best album: first for Felis Cumpleanhos Ferxo, Te Pirateamos El Album; second port 2000. Feyd’s nominations also include best artist or urban producer, best performance or concert, and best collaboration for “Classy 101” with Young Miko, among others. Turizo, meanwhile, appears in the rubros for best Latin artist or group (along with Karin Leon, Karol G, Camilo, Shakira and Maluma) and best Latin song for “El merengue.”
Shakira, whose nominations also included best video for “Copa Vacía” and two best urban collaborations – “TQG” with Karol G and “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53″ with Bizarrap, will receive a guaranteed reward: you will be recognized with them by the Golden Music Award as a “world music icon.” Karol G was also recognized as the best album in its history.
