Gal Gadot, Amy Schumer and Jerry Seinfeld among more than 700 entertainment leaders who openly support Israel

(CNN) — More than 700 entertainment professionals have signed a public document expressing their support for Israel and condemnation of Hamas while continuing repression in the Middle East.

Gal Gadot, Amy Schumer, Mayim Bialik and Jerry Seinfeld are some of the authors who published this article in the business organization Creative Community For Peace.

Signatories also include Chris Pine, Liev Schreiber, Debra Messing and Mark Hamill.

The document talks about entertainment industry leaders who “vehemently oppose Hamas and have everything in their hands to join a terrorist organization that obeys the innocent members of their families.”

“This is terrorism. This evil. There is no justification or rationalization for Hamas’s actions,” the newspaper continues.

Israel said Hamas attacks over the weekend killed at least 1,200 people and killed thousands more. According to Israeli authorities, Hamas maintains roads for 150 people in Gaza.

At least 1,417 Palestinians, including 447 children and 248 women, have died since Israel launched an attack on the Gaza Strip amid a deadly Hamas attack on Saturday, October 7, the Palestinian Health Ministry said. Another 6,268 people were injured while joining the ministry.

The postcard also warns public figures in the entertainment world to “refrain from spreading erroneous information about the war” to avoid amplifying any “propaganda.”

“Our thoughts are with all those who are experiencing unfathomable levels of abuse and violence, and we hope to see the day when Israelis and Palestinians can live together in peace,” the newspaper concluded.
