ALEJANDRO GARNACHO scored an incredible overhead goal wearing a pair of Cristiano Ronaldo branded Nike boots.
But the Portuguese legend himself never wore them.
In Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Everton, 19-year-old Garnacho wowed fans and pundits by leaping into the air and firing a bicycle kick into the goal.
The Argentinian ace showed all his qualities, burying his shot into the top corner.
Garnacho also celebrated in front of supporters at Goodison Park with Ronaldo’s trademark ‘siu’ celebration.
Despite being international teammates with rival Lionel Messi, the winger has made no secret of his admiration for Ronnie.
Inspired by Ronaldo himself, he took his idolatry to the next level by wearing Nike’s latest Mercurial Dream Speed boots.
The gorgeous shoes, which cost £264.95, went on sale two weeks ago and have been worn by several other stars, including Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe and Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane.
However, despite being the driving force behind their creation, Ronaldo has yet to step into the shoes himself.
Footy Headlines claim Ronaldo is still wearing the Nike Mercurial Superfly 9 boots, which were launched more than three months ago and cost £254.95.

He was in really good form with the team, scoring more goals for Al Nasr and Portugal.
Although Ronaldo has more hits on target than Garnacho, he is unlikely to be able to kick the ball as cleanly as the youngster – no matter which boots he wears.
Looking back on his goal, Ganaccio said: “Honestly, I can’t believe I scored.
“I didn’t see how I scored, I just listened to the crowd and said, ‘Oh my God’. It’s one of the best goals I’ve ever scored – I’m delighted.”
But head coach Erik ten Hag warned against comparisons with Ronaldo, adding: “Don’t compare. For Grenache to go down this path, he will have to work very hard.
“You have to do it consistently and so far he hasn’t done that. If you want to be Rooney or Ronaldo, you have to score 20-25 goals a season.”
