Palestinian Minister of Public Works and Settlement Muhammad Ziara stated that nearly 200,000 homes were completely or partially destroyed as a result of Israeli attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip since October 7.
In his written statement, Palestinian Minister Ziara drew attention to the toll of the attacks carried out by the Israeli army on the Gaza Strip 20 days ago.
Ziara stated that the Israeli army completely or partially destroyed nearly 200,000 homes as a result of the attacks it carried out since October 7, and stated that this is equivalent to 25 percent of the settlements in the Gaza Strip.
He described the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip as “unprecedented crimes.”
“The Israeli army completely destroyed some families in the Gaza Strip, and destroyed some neighborhoods and settlements, including their residents. As a result of the bombing, hospitals, places of worship, bakeries, water bottling facilities, markets, schools, and educational facilities in the Strip were destroyed. Gaza was also destroyed.”
Ziara confirmed that they are trying to destroy all aspects of life in the Gaza Strip, such as health, housing, agriculture, education, and infrastructure. Ziara stated that basic living needs are being destroyed in the region in light of the intense Israeli air attacks, and that people are being destroyed. They are at risk of death due to bombing or deprivation of water and food.
“Approximately 33 tons of explosives fall per square kilometer.”
The Palestinian Minister of Housing warned that if the situation in Gaza continued in this manner, thousands of civilians would lose their lives.
The statement issued by the government media office in Gaza on October 24 said, “Israel has attacked Gaza with more than 12,000 tons of explosives since October 7, that is, approximately 33 tons of explosives per square kilometer.”

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, launched a comprehensive attack on Israel on the morning of October 7, calling it the “Al-Aqsa Flood.” The Israeli army also began attacking the Gaza Strip with dozens of warplanes.

He stated that more than 100 Palestinians were martyred in attacks by Israeli forces and Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank. 25 journalists lost their lives in conflict areas, most of them due to Israeli bombing.
In clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah on the Israeli-Lebanese border since October 8, 45 members of Hezbollah, 6 members of Islamic Jihad, 3 members of Hamas, and 2 members of the Hezbollah-backed Sunni Resistance Brigade were killed, including A journalist and 4 civilians were martyred.
Three Israeli soldiers and an Israeli civilian lost their lives in the attacks carried out by Lebanon.
