A blogger from the YouTube channel Testing Games tested the performance of the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card in Crysis 3. The game was tested on a system with an Intel i9 10900K processor, MSI MPG Z490 GAMING PLUS motherboard, and 32 GB DDR4 RAM.
The most powerful new generation graphics card failed to achieve a stable 60 FPS at 8K. In open locations, the frame rate in some places dropped below 30 frames, and during the most difficult action scenes with explosions – up to 20 FPS.
In closed locations, it was possible to reach up to 70 FPS, but this figure was constantly jumping. During testing, the video card required about 355 watts. In the busiest scenes, it heated up to 67 degrees.
