Life has changed a lot for Gisele Bündchen in the last year. The longtime model and her ex-husband of about 13 years, Tom Brady, finalized their divorce nearly a year ago. In the year since that difficult period, Bundchen has focused on her children, dealt with the prying eyes of the public, and chosen to read positivity above all else. Her latest comments about the past year really show how far she’s come.
“I looked at my life and realized I had no other choice; I wouldn’t have any other life,” Bundchen said in an interview with CBS News on Sunday morning. “I would never change a thing,” she told Lee Cowan. When asked if this meant she wouldn’t even change her mind about divorce, Bundchen explained: “I don’t think that’s what I dreamed of and hoped for. My parents have been married for 50 years and I really wanted that.” Things happen,” she said.

This isn’t the first time Bündchen has spoken out about her divorce from Brady, but these latest comments certainly show she’s hopeful for her present and future. Based on her latest comments alone, it’s clear that positivity has been Bundchen’s guiding light during this transitional phase of her life. We’re sure it wasn’t easy, but with acceptance and gratitude, Bundchen found a way to not only reexamine his life, but start a new chapter.
