By the way – correct me if I’m wrong – Glamorous is the first series to focus on an area of fashion other than “clothes”, but makeup, another fundamental element for everyone. Glamorous – Review
As you can tell, I enjoyed this series, but let’s start at the beginning. Why do I have a feeling that Marco could be one of us? He is a young man who has never really “worked” while chasing the dream of becoming an influencer. (normal for many people, especially teenagers). Initially awkward, indecisive, he at times asks himself whether it is right to pursue his dreams or whether he should give up and “live a sad reality”. an internal battle and beyond that many of us find ourselves in at a certain point in life (or even more than one). Now let’s talk about makeup, which, as mentioned, is something that many people, above all, often face on a day-to-day basis. Let’s not lie, looking at a “glitter and sparkle” world is pretty tempting and it’s hard not to like it. Yes, there are some “stupid” characters *cough* Chad, but given the potential of the show, it fits. I think one of the strengths of Marco is that he is such a natural, sarcastic, and trouble-shooter that it’s hard not to admire him. (And there are too many characters in the series to think so). I guess it can be ironically defined as a mix between Sex and the City and Ugly Betty. Given the success of the series, I believe – and hope – that there will be a second season, because well… they can’t leave us like that, right?
