Google Pixel 5 may be released sooner than expected

Google may launch the  Pixel 5 earlier than expected. According to a new leak on Twitter, the company is expected to postpone the arrival of the cell phone to September 30, leaving only the  Pixel 4a 5G to be made available sometime in October.

The information comes from Jon Prosser, a technology analyst who often leaks details about the mobile industry. In a sequence of posts on the social network, he revealed the arrival window of the next Google phones and also the color of the devices, without explaining the possible division in the launch of the devices.

According to the source, the Pixel 5 will be released in black and green on September 30. The Pixel 4a  5G should arrive in October with a white body. It is worth mentioning that Google also released an image of cell phones in black.

The Pixel 5 and the Pixel 4a 5G were confirmed by Google on the day of the launch of the Pixel 4a, which is already available on the market and is successful abroad. The company promised that more news about the devices would arrive soon, but did not disclose price or release date for the devices.

Pixel 5 is expected to be Google’s most powerful device for 2020. According to speculation, the phone will feature the Snapdragon 765G processor, Qualcomm’s intermediate model, 8 GB of  RAM, and a 120 Hz screen.

The speculation points that the Pixel 4a 5G may bring hardware similar to the main model of the line, but with some inferior characteristics to provide a more competitive price. The Snapdragon 765G processor, however, should appear on the smartphone to ensure support for 5G.

To date, Google has not officially commented on the rumors or revealed the release date for the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5.
