Governors and security cabinet agree to give priority to emergency


The security cabinet and the governors of the 32 entities of the country agreed give priority to the sanitary contingency by the Covid-19, which will allow to cope with the possible criminal acts to the detriment of the heritage of the citizenship and of the private sector.

During a videoconference, according to the SSPC, the secretaries of Security, Alfonso Durazo; of National Defense, Luis Cresencio Sandoval; Marina, José Rafael Ojeda, accompanied by the chancellor, Marcelo Ebrard; and the Legal adviser of the Presidency, Julio Scherer, and the leaders state they exposed the targeted prevention measures and coordination in order to strengthen security in the country arising from the situation that is presented by the spread of the new virus.

By means of an informational card, the unit noted that they will maintain the monitoring of permanently throughout the national territory with the purpose of targeting regions with violence, and in their case to develop the necessary preventive measures to avoid the increase in crime.

He asserted that the tasks of security and surveillance deployed by the National Guard in the country will allow, in case some type of contingency is available, the security protocols and take action immediately.

He reiterated the commitment of the Security cabinet, composed of the SSPC, ministry of defence, Navy to implement mechanisms aimed at the protection of the health and welfare of mexicans.
