Guardians of the Galaxy 3, the final chapter in the trilogy created by James Gunn, has finally received a release date on Disney+. So, let’s find out when the cinematic will be available on the platform.
Winning box office around the world, Guardians of the Galaxy, Part 3 – epic conclusion to the trilogy conceived James Gunn – finally gets release date on Disney+. In fact, the comic book movie will be available on the streaming platform starting from August 2.

The streaming service’s Twitter page announced the arrival of the feature film on Disney+ with a short clip showing that “Guardians Return Home”. The third chapter of the trilogy created by James Gunn, the comic book movie has determined End of partnership between director and Marvel Studiossince Gunn became co-CEO of DC Studios with Peter Safran. Some characters – like Gamora Zoe Saldana – are also not destined to return to the MCU, while others, like Peter Quill, may return as main characters in some projects. Gunn, despite his departure from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, actually hypothesizedspin-off appearance on Stard-Lordalso expected by the post-credits scene of the film:
We always try to give the audience something special. Chris (Pratt) and I talked a lot about how great it would be to make a film about the legendary Star-Lord. A story in which he tries to adapt to the uses and customs of Earth just like anyone else in space. I think it’s a fish in the water, but that’s the beauty of it. I would like to see this story.
