Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – Chris Pratt is ready to say goodbye to Peter Quill

Chris Prattduring a recent interview for Comicbook. comthen confirmed what was leaked from the synopsis and the released trailers, namely that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be an emotional journey. Reflecting on the epilogue of the saga, the actor then summed up the entire path of the Guardians, gone from being a group of marginal characters within the MCU to being the protagonists of one of the franchises most loved by the public:

It was really exciting, for so many reasons. It would be impossible to list them all in one interview. I’m grateful that James Gunn has led the franchise and I’m grateful for the way he’s done it. I will forever be grateful to him for casting me in the part. And it was gratifying to be in the film and find it a huge success, since critics said it would be the first Marvel film to fail. Instead we took these characters – that no one knew about – and made them familiar. Now their names are known all over the world. It’s been an incredible ten years. It’s kind of like the last day of high school senior year. You’re so excited that it’s all over, but at the same time you don’t know if you’ll see your friends again (…) It’s like entering a new chapter in your life. You know you’re moving on. So it’s exciting, but also very touching.

The star, therefore, is officially ready to say goodbye to Peter Quill\Star Lord character. Recently, Pratt took part in the final chapter of another saga to which he was particularly attached, that of Jurassic World. We will therefore see which new projects the actor will decide to take part in. Meanwhile, the appointment with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set for May 5th – release date of the film. Alongside Pratt, we will find i historical faces of the franchiseready to say goodbye – perhaps – forever to their characters: Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel – who play, in CGI, Rocket and Groot.
