Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Sylvester Stallone in the new spot of the film

Marvel released a new commercial to celebrate the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3third and final chapter of the trilogy directed by James Gunn and starring the most beloved team of outcasts of the mcu. In the commercial, it is possible to take a look at a face already known to fans Marvel and whose presence also in the third film on the Guardians is thus definitively confirmed: we are talking about Sylvester Stallone.

Stallion has already appeared in the second chapter of the trilogy in the role of Stakar Ogord, aka Starhawk, a captain of the Ravager and former teammate of Yondu. In the commercial we can see, albeit fleetingly, also the Starhawk uniform worn by Stallion and we have a brief appearance of Nathan Fillionwho will have a still undisclosed role, but completely different from the one played by the actor in the second film.

reuniting the Ravagers after Yondu’s sacrifice and rebuilding the Guardians of the Galaxy team from comics: Charlie-27 (Ving Rhames), Martinex (Michael Rosenbaum), mainframes (Miley Cyrus) and Aletha (Michelle Yeoh). There is certainly the possibility of seeing Stakar’s team in action in this latest chapter, as the group could come in support of the current Guardians, during the clash with the High Evolutionary. Also, in this new film, Gamora (Zoe Saldana) should be part of the Ravagers and connection to both Stakar’s and Peter Quill’s teams (Chris Pratt) could prove important to the development of the story.

Interviewed at the time of his entry into the MCU, Stallion he declared himself enthusiastic about being able to take part in the film, given that according to him:

“The MCU is the mythology of this generation and also of the next. When Kevin Feige invited me on board I was like ‘This is interesting, I’ve never explored this’.(…) So I thought ‘Yeah, show me what happens, where the future is going’. And it was fantastic”

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Peter and his crew are still reeling from the loss of Gamora, as they try to make a new life on Knowhere. But their existence will be disturbed by Rocket’s past (Bradley Cooper) who returns to visit him and from a threat so great that it could annihilate the Guardians as we have known them up to this moment. Appointment at May 3rd for the ultimate and exciting journey.
