Gastroenteritis, fever, domestic accidents… Zaragozas who cannot escape the city this summer long weekend have a list of pharmacies to deal with any unforeseen event.
More and more pharmacies in Aragon are open on holidays, Saturdays and Sundays. There are even a large number of pharmacies with green cross lights and shutters lit 24 hours a day. Even though it’s the August long weekend, when most establishments have “Closed” signs, you can always find a pharmacy open in downtown Zaragoza and nearby neighborhoods. But it is important to understand which pharmaceutical institutions have a responsibility to serve all citizens.
