Hamas in Gaza responds to the United States: “It is a matter specific to Palestine.”

Hamas spokesman, Abdul Latif Kanu, responded to the statement of the National Security Council’s Strategic Communications Coordinator at the White House, John Kirby, regarding the management of Gaza.

Kanu said, in a statement via the Telegram application, “Governing Gaza or part of our land is a matter specific to our people, Palestine, and no force on the ground can change this fact or impose its will.”

“Kirby’s speech is just a dream.”

Assessing Kirby’s statements on Tuesday, November 7, that Hamas cannot be part of the equation in the future of the Gaza Strip and that consultations on the form of government there are continuing, Kano said: Kirby’s talk about the post-Hamas situation in the Gaza Strip and Gaza is nothing but a dream and Palestine stated that “the people United with the resistance forces and deciding his fate.”

Abdul Latif Kanno considered that Hamas is a national liberation movement and an integral part of the Palestinian people, and said that it has the right to resist and fight the occupation in accordance with all laws and customs.

“No one will be allowed to carry out his plans.”

The Hamas spokesman stressed that the Palestinian people, who failed in their plans to liquidate the just cause of Palestine and for displacement, stand firm on their land and will not allow anyone to implement their plans.

Regarding the confrontations in Gaza, which have entered their 33rd day, Kanu said that the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, inflicted heavy losses on vehicles, tanks and the Israeli occupation army, which are still trying to cross the Gaza Strip. The occupation forces faced strikes from the Al-Qassam Brigades, and he stated that they were retreating.

Kanu said that Israel will lose this battle like its predecessors, and that it will not achieve its goal in the end, just as it failed at the beginning of the conflict on the morning of October 7.
