Harry Potter, Evanna Lynch defends JK Rowling: ‘I wish people were kinder’

Harry Potter star Evanna Lynch has taken the defense of the author of the literary saga JK Rowling, who has long been in the eye of the storm for her transphobic statements on Twitter that have created divisions and controversies even among fans of the boy wizard, who are back in vogue in this period with the release of Hogwarts Legacy.

Interviewed by the Telegraph, Evanna Lynch said:“His role has always been to advocate for the most vulnerable members of society. The problem is there is disagreement about who is the most vulnerable. I just wish people would be kinder and listen to what he has to say.” said the actress.
