However, his brutal response to Tyrese Gibson was an entire moment that was unscripted and added on the spot, all thanks to Ludacris.

IN Fast and Furious 6, there was a reunion scene in which Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) and Tej Parker (Ludacris) were cooking when Dwayne Johnson’s character, Luke Hobbs, came on stage.
Pierce eventually joked about Hobbs’s remark: “You better hide your baby oil.” make fun of his excessive use of butter. The next moment made the whole sequence even more fun because Jumanji the actor returned to the statement: “You better hide that big forehead.”
It was a cruel response to a mockery of Gibson’s big forehead that caused Ludacris to spit out his drink while barely containing his laughter. Given that the episode received a lot of attention, the rapper later admitted that he was the mastermind behind the entire façade.

The 46-year-old rapper revealed that he was the one who asked The Rock to add the tongue-in-cheek line to his opening scene. He said that this scene was not in the script, which even reflected his shock reaction. According to a short video via BoldBillionaire, Ludacris shared:
“So, a lot of people don’t know this, I whispered to The Rock and told him he needed to say this and I didn’t think he would. Because it wasn’t written in the script at all.”
He continued,
“Tyrese is known as the guy on set who’s always making fun of everyone, and the last thing he expected was for ‘The Rock’ to make such a great comeback.”
In another appearance on BBC Radio 1, he talked about how Johnson surprised everyone by delivering the dialogue.
“So it was a real reaction when he actually said it in his own way to Tyrese. And Tyrese’s reaction was very surprising too, because he had no idea The Rock was going to do this.”
He also claimed that he and Gibson’s reaction were “100% real” that’s why he spat out his drink. He made a big impact on the stage, giving fans fun moments.
This year the franchise released its tenth installment. Fast which featured an ensemble cast including a comeback Baby actor and Crashes star. The film, grossing $714 million worldwide, received mixed reviews from critics. Meanwhile, its sequel is currently in development and will be released on April 4, 2025.
