Healthy Living – Eliminate Anger and Stress. This is bad for your health.

Nowadays, it seems that many people are trying to improve their living standards. They have a burr under the saddle and seem intent on keeping it that way. The external effects are obvious, but all of these effects on a person’s body have a huge impact on their overall health.

Emotions like anger and hostility can exacerbate your fight-or-flight response. When this happens, stress hormones, including adrenaline and cortisol, speed up your heart rate and breathing. You get a surge of energy. Your blood vessels tighten. Your blood pressure dreams. If this happens frequently, it can lead to wear and tear on the artery walls. The physical and mental stress caused by anger can trigger heart disease or any other disease related to this muscle.

Anger can lead to irritable bowel syndrome, which can lead to colitis or diarrhea. Stress, fear, tension, and anger can all contribute to intestinal imbalance.

Gastritis is one of the most common consequences of anger, and its symptoms are well known: acid reflux, pain, and a burning sensation in the stomach. When you get angry a lot, stomach acid inflames the mucus lining, so if you get angry a lot, you may not only develop gastritis, but you may also develop a stomach ulcer.

Among other things, anger is a major trigger of itching and rashes. The same can also be attributed to tension, stress, nervousness, anxiety and fear.

Negative emotions always affect your physical health, and anger is no exception. Emotional factors are one of the most important contributors to all diseases, including cancer. Your emotions can actually trigger the expression of your genes in health or disease…and if you’re chronically angry or prone to uncontrolled outbursts, you may be inadvertently sabotaging your health.

We all experience anger and hatred at some point in our lives. It’s natural to feel angry about something, if you know how to handle it so that it doesn’t negatively impact your health and well-being. If you can learn to address the root cause of your anger and work through your negative emotions instead of attacking yourself or others, you’ll be further on the road to optimal health and happiness.

People who are stressed are more likely to feel angry. Numerous studies worldwide show that regular exercise improves mood and reduces stress levels. This may be because physical exertion depletes stress chemicals and also increases the production of mood-regulating neurotransmitters in the brain, including endorphins and catecholamines. You’re familiar with the word “walk away,” give it a try. When you feel your anger starting to take over, step away and take a walk outside. Fresh air and a little exercise can help. It won’t solve all your problems, but it will help you reset.
