Long-awaited nominations for MTV VMAs 2023 Eliminated: Blackpink, Diddy, Doja Cat, Kim Petras, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Smith, Shakira and SZA are among the main candidates. But the absolute favorite remains Taylor Swiftwhich could break a new record this year.

MTV VMAs 2023: Nominees Announced

The show, which has celebrated artists transforming the music industry through its cultural impact for decades, boasts a record number of nominees this year. For the first time at MTV VMA 35 nominees, with numerous newcomers. These include Kim Petras, Metro Boomin & Rema, Ira Starr, GloRilla, Ice Spice, Peso Pluma, Rene Rapp and Yung Miami. There are also many artists who receive first applications

: Aespa, boygenius, Burna Boy, Davido, Eslabon Armado, FLETCHER, FIFTY FIFTY and JVKE. And again Lauren Spencer Smith, Musa Keys, PinkPanteress, Bold Santana, Steven Sanchez and Tuosi.

Voting for artists is open until September 1 and includes 15 gender neutral categories. For this edition brand new category Best Afrobeats to the most desirable Video of the year AND Artist of the Year. Fans can vote for their favorite artists by visiting the official MTV VMA website. Voting for Best New Artist will also be active during the show, which will take place on 12 September. Nominations in social categories, including Team of the Year AND Song of summerhowever, they will be announced later.

The highly anticipated 2023 VMAs show will be broadcast live in over 150 countries all over the world from the famous Prudential Center in New Jersey (USA). Like every year, the MTV show will celebrate the most influential names in music with unique performances and many surprises along with thousands of fans.
